After taking their vows, Sarah and James Erck set off for  Europe for a two-wheeled honeymoon.  The Czech Republic was one of their favorite destinations.  Find out why.

Reason # 2.
Quality campgrounds with showers are common, inexpensive, and easy to find.  There are often signs along the road pointing towards camping grounds.

Reason # 3

Amazing beer is available on tap at almost all campgrounds!!  Enjoy 0.5L mugs of Pilsner for only 50 cents!

Reason # 4

Lots of secondary and tertiary roads to cycle on.  This leads to beautiful relaxing cycling without the stress and smell of car traffic.

About the Cyclists

Sarah Erck Welle and her husband James got married, quit their jobs, and bicycled around the world.

In November of 2006 they left their comfortable corporate jobs and set out looking for adventure on the open road. One year later they  returned, after traveling through 20 countries and cycling over 10,000 kilometers.
