The A-Z of Bicycle Touring is a collaborative project of the international bicycle touring community. Cyclists from all over the world share their unique perspectives on bicycle touring in some of the world’s most adventurous destinations.
We believe every country on the planet has something to offer for cyclists. The A-Z of Bicycle Touring aims to highlight 5 reasons to go bicycle touring in each and every major country.
How you can contribute:
- Are you passionate about bicycle touring?
- Can you think of 5 good reasons to go bicycle touring in one of the world’s 195 countries?
- Would you be willing to share those reasons with other cyclists?
- Have you got 5 inspiring photos to go along with those 5 good reasons to go bicycle touring in country X?
It’s as simple as that.

About the A-Z of Bicycle Touring Project
This will be an interesting project if it gets off the ground. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
and then it turns out you missed one of the best countries to cycle in; almost flat, many cycling lanes, people who are used to cyclists, very many campsites, every 10 miles a village to get some groceries, lots of bicycle shops to buy parts or get your bicycle repaired if your not able to do it yourself, lots of historical building and many more amenities. The Netherlands!!!
Amaya, this is a great idea! I can help out with Czech Republic and Bulgaria, as well as some of the lower priority eastern european countries.
what’s the best way to contribute – via email? Do you want pictures too?
