A superb hearty veggie meaty stew thing. And it is cheap. After a hard days cycle a borsht will more than set you up for the next day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldbiking.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/borsch.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-602\" title=\"Borsht\" src=\"http:\/\/www.worldbiking.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/borsch.jpg\" alt=\"Borsht\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Reason #2<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>It scores highly on the completion satisfaction scales. The road is rough and bridges nonexistent; we even had to carry our bikes and kit across at least 2 fast flowing rivers. It&#8217;s these types of experiences that really make a trip memorable.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_606\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-606\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldbiking.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/saki-road.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-606\" title=\"saki-road\" src=\"http:\/\/www.worldbiking.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/saki-road.png\" alt=\"saki-road\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-606\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The road to Saki, a real-workout for the calves.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Reason #5 <\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Tea. I want to say the people but think this goes without saying. Tea, then, is the clear social driver in Azerbaijan, each day we received countless invitations for tea. And what feather-light refreshing tea it is! Nothing makes cycling touring in Azerbaijan more wonderful than the wealth of opportunities to simply get off the bike, in the middle of some random little village and sip away the afternoon with the local people.
