While lugging around two computers on the back of a bike may sound a little extravagant, it sure does cut down on the arguments.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0No more, \u2018Are you almost finished? \u00a0What can you possibly be doing on that computer all this time.\u00a0 You know I also want to check my e-mails.\u2019\u00a0 The extra weight is well worth the peace.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">11<\/span> <\/strong>Hours spent visiting some of the world\u2019s most spectacular waterfalls.\u00a0 Iguazu, of course.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<figure read.\u00a0 Now you see why we needed a second computer.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">73<\/span><\/strong> Hours spent listening to podcasts while pedaling. \u00a0And there you have it, the reason for the new MP4\u2019s (although I really wanted an I-pod, but you know what my frugal French husband thought of that).<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">22<\/span><\/strong> Number of days spent waiting in Asuncion for shiny new passports from the French authorities.\u00a0 Mine was expiring and Eric\u2019s was chock full of stamps.\u00a0 Used to be you could apply in one country and pick up your new passport in another country down the road.\u00a0 No more.\u00a0 \u2018Heightened security,\u2019 they say. \u00a0\u00a0More like heightened hassle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldbiking.info\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/IMG_7365-guarani1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" America.\u00a0 It\u2019s a rare occurrence that somebody turns us down we when request to camp on their land.\u00a0 Ranches, gas stations, churches, community centers, police stations, schools\u2026people everywhere have welcomed us with a smile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a
